safron rice Zafrani Pulao is a mix of rich ingredients - Basmati rice cooked in a sweet and rich blend of spices and nuts.
Ingredients
- Mint ½ Bunch
- Coriander Leaves ½ Bunch
- Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Teaspoons
- Biryani Masala 1 Pinch
- Black Cumin ½ Teaspoons
- Pomogranate Seeds Ripe ½ Teaspoons
- Onion 1 Numbers
- Raisins 10 Numbers
- Salt 1 Teaspoons
- Rice (long, Grained) 200 Grams
- Saffron. 1 Pinch
- Cashew Nuts. 10 Numbers
- Almonds. 5 Numbers
- Butter 4 Teaspoons
- Fried Onion
Instructions
- Wash rice twice and soak in just enough water to cover it for half an hour. Drain excess water.
- heat oil add cimin nuts and onions as shown and saute for few min add ginger garlic paste
- add salt biryani masala
- add water and when simmering add rice mix once and cook covered
- when warter is almost absorbed top it with fried onion , safron color and pomogranate seeds
- top of with little butter
- let it steam for another 5 min
- serve with kababs,kormas and curries
