Cucumber Mutton Curry
Mutton combines with sweet cucumbers for an enthraling experience and goes nicely with rice
Ingredients
- Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tablespoons
- Turmeric 1 Pinch
- Coconut Powder 1 Tablespoons
- Chilly Powder 1 Tablespoons
- Green Chilly Paste 1 Teaspoons
- Mutton 300 Grams
- Cucumber (Dosakaya) 150 Grams
- Garam Masala 1 Teaspoons
- Coriander Chopped ½ Bunch
- Salt To Taste
- Onion Chopped (medium Size) 1 Numbers
- Cumin Seeds ¼ Teaspoons
- Oil 2 Tablespoons
- Poppy Seed Paste 1 Tablespoons
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, chopped onions, salt, cook it till onions are brown in colour, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, cook this till raw flavour is gone,
- add coconut powder, chilly powder, green chilly paste, add mutton stock (which you boil the mutton), poppy seed paste, put the lid on let it cook till cucumber is tender,
- add mutton (cooked in a pressure cooker) cook it in a slow flame for 5 minutes.
- Add garam masala powder, chopped coriander, and then switch off the flame.
- Serve this with rice or chapatti.
