Slimmer's Salad
This delicious slimmer's salad contains all the vitamins a and c needed in the full day's diet.
Ingredients
- To Be Mixed For The Curd Dressing
- 1½ cups hung low fat curds
- 1 tbsp chopped onions
- ½ tsp chopped green chillies
- 1 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt to taste
- Other Ingredients
- 4 dessert apples
- 1 fresh pear (optional)
- 1 orange
- 1 medium sized capsicum
- 4 carrot
- 4 sticks celery (ajmoda)
- ½ cucumber
- a few raisins (kismis)
Instructions
- Chop the fruits coarsely.
- Grate the vegetables.
- Mix in a bowl and put to chill.
- If you like, add the curd dressing.
- Serve cold.
