Three Bean Salad ( Healthy Heart )
An excellent combination of mixed beans tossed in a tantalizing blend of herb dressing. The beans constitute a perfect low calorie way to add fibre to your diet.
Ingredients
- For The Salad
- 3 cups boiled beans ( choose from rajma (kidney beans) , chawli (cow pea / lobhia) ,
- chick peas , boiled vaal (field beans/ butter beans) or hara chana (green chick peas) )
- ½ cup sliced spring onions
- ¾ cup tomato cubes
- To Be Mixed Into A Dressing
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped basil or
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp grated garlic (lehsun)
- salt and to taste
- For The Garnish
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
Instructions
- Mix well all the ingredients together.
- Add in the dressing and mix well. Refrigerate till required.
- Serve chilled garnished with the chopped coriander.
