Sesame seed chutney is an another speciality of Hyderabad and goes very well with south Indian tiffin items
Ingredients
  • Urad Daal ½ Teaspoons
  • Mustard Seeds ¼ Teaspoons
  • Salt To Taste
  • Tamarind Juice ¼ Cup
  • Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoons
  • Coconut Pieces 100 Grams
  • Chilly Flakes 1 Tablespoons
  • Sesame Seeds 1 Cup
  • Garlic 4 Clove
  • Oil 2 Tablespoons
  • Hing 1 Pinch
  • Curry Leaves 2 Springs
  • Sugar 1 Pinch
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan add garlic, sesame seeds, chilly flakes, coconut pieces, cumin seeds, cook it in a slow flame for 3 minutes,
  2. add tamarind juice, salt, switch off the flame let it cool down and put it into the blender and make a paste.
  3. For tempering heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds is splatter, cumin seeds, Urad daal, hing, curry leaves, switch off the flame, and pour the sesame seeds paste into the bowl
  4. add pinch of sugar mix it and before serving add tempering.
